Question about hunting in or near Midland TxSummary:
I am from Odessa and currently living in Denton, TX. Whitetail are hit or miss in Ector/Midland County. That being said, I will be hunting a 200 acre patch of Midland County this year that Monahan's draw crosses and pools up on. There are definitely some monsters around, and hunting pressure is less severe than you would find farther south. As said above, wing shooting is prime, especially blue quail and mourning dove. Also keep in mind that excellent waterfowl hunting is a little over an hour north of you around Lubbock. Good luck, and happy hunting. Does anyone know the B&C record for Midland, Co.? |
